How mattress removal works

Text a photo of the mattress, the floor it is on, and your zip. We send a flat price. On the day, we carry it down, load it, and go. If you have more than one, or a frame and headboard too, send the photos together and we price the lot.

Charities do not accept used mattresses, so we do not donate them. We take them for disposal instead, and you can add a mattress to any job, including a donation pickup.

Why the city will not just take it

Richmond’s bulk pickup runs every other week and mattresses have to be out on the right day. Henrico and Chesterfield require a trip to the convenience center. The mattress store that delivered the new one may or may not haul the old one, and often does not. So it sits in the garage. We fix that.

Bed bugs, honestly

If there is any chance the mattress has bed bugs, tell us before we come. We bring a mattress bag, seal it in the bedroom, and carry it out sealed. It goes straight to disposal. Nobody is judging, and it is a lot better for everyone than finding out on the trailer.

Do you take just one mattress?

Yes. A single mattress and box spring is one of our most common jobs. Text a photo and your zip for a flat price.

Can you come before my new mattress is delivered?

Yes. Tell us the delivery window and we pick up before it. If the delivery company was supposed to take the old one and did not, text us that morning.

What about bed bugs?

Tell us. We bag the mattress before it leaves the room and it goes straight to the county facility, not to donation. There is no extra charge for the bag.

Do you donate mattresses?

No. Charities do not accept used mattresses, so we take them for disposal instead. You can add a mattress to any job, including a donation pickup.
